Doug: “I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to turn an avocation into a vocation.”

Doug Smith came to St. Louis almost 40 years ago and built a strong junior program at Sunset, where he later became a part-owner.

There he also developed and directed national-level tournaments – and coached Sunset players to 50 Top-10 Missouri Valley rankings.

Later, as head coach at St. Joseph’s Academy, Doug guided the Angels to nine state championships in 18 years.
