Pat Purcell

Pat: “My life in tennis has been a fulfilling journey.”

Starting in public parks, Pat Purcell first got the attention of the tennis community as a nationally ranked junior. In the 1980s, she became the top St. Louis women’s player.

After college, Pat made tennis her business. She owned a club and, during and after, built one of the country’s biggest World Team Tennis programs.

Now competing again after a 20-year break, Pat has won national titles in women’s 55 singles and doubles. Her U.S. Women’s 55 team won the Maureen Connelly Cup at the 2013 World Competition in Turkey.

Pat is a pro in Chesterfield.
